Bottle Logic Picture If You Will Release 2016

Bottle Logic Brewing in Anaheim announced yesterday (September 12, 2016) that they’ll be releasing the second batch of their Bourbon Barrel Aged Pumpkin Ale Picture If You Will this weekend. They made the announcement via their Instagram account, posting a picture of a bottle of last year’s batch with the information about this year’s release.

Picture If You Will is Bottle Logic’s Fall seasonal bottle release and is brewed with pumpkins, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove and aged in Four Roses bourbon barrels. This year’s batch comes in at 13.3% ABV after being a slightly lower 11.8% last year.

As a part of the Stasis Project, Picture If You Will is one of a series of barrel aged beers that includes Darkstar November, Ground State, Leche Borracho, Stronger Than Fiction, and Fundamental Observation, which have earned Bottle Logic renown. All of the Stasis Project bottles are limited release and the majority of them are sold online for pickup at the brewery in Anaheim.

Bottle Logic describes Picture If You Will as, “a tribute to the sweet, dark magic of Four Roses Bourbon barrels and the caramelly, burnt-sugar spell they’ve cast over our seasonal pumpkin ale.” This sounds like a fitting beer for Fall, and given Bottle Logic’s penchant for making excellent strong beers with high quality added ingredients aged in barrels it’s one seasonal beer we’d love to try.

Bottle sales will begin this Sunday, September 18th at 12:00pm PST. The limit will be 3 bottles 500ml per person for $18.95 each. We assume this sale will take place on Eventbrite like all of Bottle Logic’s other recent bottle releases, but we’ll find out when they post the purchase link on their Instagram in the next few days. We will be sure to keep an eye out for updates from Bottle Logic and post an update when the link is available.
