Modern Times Underworld Dreams Can Release
Modern Times Beer has just announced their next special release canned IPA for Underworld Dreams. This will be the third release of this kind from Modern Times, after their recent releases of Mage Hand and Attack Frequency. The Modern Times Underworld Dreams Can Release was announced via their Instagram account yesterday, with the release planned for a couple weeks from now (the date has not yet been announced at time of writing).
Underworld Dreams features a handful of different hop varieties, including Southern Passion, Simcoe, Idaho 7, HBC 344, and Amarillo. As with their other recent IPA releases, Underworld Dreams is going to be tropical and juicy in the East Coast or New England IPA style. This latest can release will be 6.1% ABV and come in 16oz cans.
COMING SOON: Underworld Dreams IPA. This transcendently tasty hop-bomb is packed to bursting with Southern Passion, Simcoe, Idaho 7, HBC 344, and Amarillo hops. The result is a mega-tropical, supremely-refreshing IPA that worships at the divine altar of juiciness. This 6.1% stunner is the latest in our 16oz canned special release program, and will be hitting Brown Paper Tickets in a couple of weeks. If you want the latest on the sale, signing up for the email list is advised, and can be done via our profile link.
The can design for Underworld Dreams is definitely one of the most visually impressive that Modern Times has come out with yet, continuing the modern and clean look of the previous can designs with more bold lines and colors.
This new special release series of IPA’s is a smart move by Modern Times in an attempt to capture some of the same excitement that Treehouse and Trillium have on the East Coast and Monkish has on the West Coast with limited release juicy IPA cans. This trend has been gaining popularity and driving up fanatical fan bases for the limited and highly sought after cans.
The Underworld Dreams release will likely include some stout and sour releases similar to other recent Modern Times releases. Another recent Instagram post from Modern Times showed a new Monsters’ Park aged in Uncommon Raptor Barrels (undoubtedly a pseudonym for a popular spirit which they cannot legally mention in the name – Wild Turkey Rare Breed perhaps?) that will likely be included in this same release.
